Multi-Hued Humanity Series

One of the most absurd lies that the perpetrator has confused us with is to define some of us as “black” and some as “white,” creating associations of superiority to all things white, and inferiority to all things black.

In the series “Multi-Hued Humanity and the Redemption of Black” the delusion of “black skin” and “white skin”  is dispersed into the multitude of skin colors represented by various clay bodies, the browns/reds/yellows merging in some areas, discrete in others.

At the same time, and divorced from any consideration of human skin colors, this series imagines that Black and White, as spiritual and archetypal realities, may come into a more balanced relationship with one another, after millennia of white domination.
