The Mending Series
There are wounds of the body and wounds of the soul.
There are wounds that weep and never heal.
There are wounds bound with scars of such tenacity that they deform the whole.
There are wounds that are mended with gold.
In the Mending Series I use the ancient Japanese art form of Kintsugi to mend broken faces and bodies with gold. This is the beauty of resilience and healing.
